How the process works

The doctor starts with a thorough exam to identify the cause of pain, areas of adhesions and scar tissue. Specific muscle movements are then applied to break down the restrictions.

In the process, we increase the range of motion and improve the texture of the muscle. When muscles, tendons and ligaments are clear of scar tissue, a specific stretching and strengthening program will be prescribed in order to restore normal function.

Ankle Pain
Ankle pain due to repetitive sprains/strains can be one of the most frustrating injuries to rehabilitate. Without proper treatment you will continue to re-injure your ankle due to lack of stability in the joint.

Do you feel inside or outside ankle pain? Do you feel instability in the ankle or tightness along the Achilles tendon? Are you chronically spraining your ankle? Do you feel sharp pain at the bottom of your foot? Is your ankle pain stopping you from running, playing soccer or tennis? Are you feeling a constant ache?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.

Elbow Pain
Elbow pain is most often associated with tennis, golf or repetitive movements related to turning your forearm up or down such as using a screwdriver. Elbow pain can lead to numbness and tingling in the forearm and hand.

Do you have inside, outside or deep elbow pain? Do you have any sharp shooting pain into your forearm? Do you have any pain during or after playing tennis or golf?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.

Hip Pain
Hip pain is a common complaint with runners and cyclists of all ages. Whether it is bad mechanics or tightness in the hip flexors, hip pain can lead to pain in the low back and/or the knee.

Do you feel local hip pain or tightness? Do you feel sharp shooting pain into the buttock, down the front or back of the leg? Do you have hip flexor tightness? Is your hip causing you achiness and limiting your range of motion?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.

Improve your golf game
There is no doubt that every recreational golfer or professional golfer has felt the aches and pains of too many rounds of golf over a period of time. Many will tell you that stretching is the answer to your problem and others will tell you that a golf fitness program will help stop the pain. Actually the only answer lies in breaking down restrictions that develop in the muscles and joints due to faulty mechanics. How do you correct faulty mechanics? A good golf swing needs full rotational capacity of several joints. The motion needs to be fluid, explosive and able to be repeated throughout the day. Joint and muscle restrictions will limit your rotational ability and affect your golf swing.

Do you feel hip flexor tightness? Do you have back pain or leg pain? Do you feel tightness or achiness in your shoulders? Do you fade towards the back nine? Are you unable to correct the faulty mechanics in your golf swing?

Improve your running
Running has been credited with numerous health benefits such as improving the cardiovascular and respiratory system. However, as the miles add up, the body slowly begins to break down and faulty mechanics take over. If the proper measures are not taken to stop this cycle, the pain will progress, diminishing your performance.

Are you experiencing hip flexor tightness during or at the end of your run? Do you have outside knee pain or shin pain on the front of your leg? Do you feel tightness and increased pressure in the calf? Have you noticed that your stride length has decreased making your times slower? Do you fade towards the end of your run due to pain or heaviness in your legs?

Knee Pain
Knee pain puts most people on the sidelines due to its debilitating pain. Its role is crucial in order to perform any sport or activity. Tightness in the musculature above and below the knee can alter the mechanics of knee movement which causes pain and a locking sensation. Sometimes knee pain is caused by minor stretching and/or tearing of the ligaments of the knee. Scar tissue develops in the surrounding musculature and reduces the range of motion. Soft tissue treatment and a strengthening program can usually eliminate knee pain.

Do you feel inside, outside or deep knee pain? Do you feel instability or stiffness? Do you feel pain when going upstairs? Does your knee feel achy? Is your knee giving you problems when running, playing tennis or golf?

Low Back Pain
Low back pain is the number one cause of work disability in the US. Eight out of ten people will suffer from low back pain at some point in their life. Mechanics of the low back complex need to be addressed in order to correct low back pain.

Do you feel local pain in the low back? Do you feel shooting pain into the buttock or down your leg? Does your low back feel stiff or unstable? Is your lower back pain stopping you from your everyday activities or preventing you from having a good night sleep? Is it affecting your workouts or sports performance?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.

Neck Pain
Neck pain and stiffness is a rapidly growing complaint most likely due to the increased use of computers. Whether it is bad ergonomics at your desk or a sports injury, neck pain can be excruciating.

Do you feel local pain or tightness in your neck? Do you feel sharp shooting pain into the shoulder or down the arm? Do you have any numbness or tingling in your fingers? Do you feel any instability? Is your neck pain limiting your range of motion and keeping you from doing your work or playing sports?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.

Shoulder Pain
The shoulder is one of the most common joints to be injured. The shoulder provides great range of motion at the expense of instability. A shoulder injury can lead to dysfunction in the arms, neck and back. Resting your shoulder will not fix the problem. Mechanics of the shoulder must be corrected by breaking down the damaged musculature and restoring proper function with a stretching and strengthening program.

Do you feel front, back or deep shoulder joint pain? Does your shoulder feel unstable like it's going to "pop out"? Have you noticed that your shoulder feels stiff and has a decreased range of motion? Does moving your shoulder in any direction cause you pain? Is your shoulder pain preventing you from having a good night sleep? Is it affecting your workouts, sports performance or is it a nagging ache?

Whiplash
Sudden jolting of the head or low back causes whiplash injuries. Pain and stiffness from a whiplash type injury can be felt the day after the accident or years later. Whiplash injuries lead to premature degeneration of the joints that were injured.

Do you feel pain or stiffness in your neck? Do you have any sharp shooting pain into one or both of your arms? Do you have pain when moving your neck in any direction?

Many patients see immediate results, with the majority of patients achieving relief from pain within a short amount of time. Our care is designed to produce results as quickly as possible.
